Pat Reynolds, RN, BSN, CNOR
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell you about myself and the amazing team of professionals that make our operating suites one of the best places to have your surgery performed. I’m Pat Reynolds and I’ve been an operating nurse for, well, let’s just say I have a LOT of experience! It really is a privilege to work here, not just because of the high quality care that we deliver to each patient every day, but because of the teamwork, support, and commitment that each of us has. Our team is focused on making sure that you have the best possible outcome and experience while you are under our care. I serve as the Nursing Manager for Peri-Operative Services at Alameda Hospital, which is a fancy way of saying I’m responsible for a number of departments including all the operating suites, the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, the Short Stay (outpatient) Unit, Central Supply Services, and the Infusion Center. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Summa Cum Laude, from Houston Baptist University, am licensed as a Registered Nurse, and also have certification as a CNOR, or specialized operating room nurse. My background includes working at some of the largest hospitals in the country, as well as smaller private practices, but it has always been in the field of surgery. I love orthopaedics because of the dramatic difference it can make in a person’s life. As a runner and athlete, I know how important it is to recover from an injury and return to the quality of life that we each want to enjoy. Being part of the Bay Area Bone & Joint Center is a wonderful blessing and gift that I get to share with those in need.
